WOW ! VistaPan has surpassed all my expectations. My VistaPan steel drum has continued to put a smile on my face everytime I play. The blending, tonal quality and tonal response of the VistaPan instrument is fantastic. I have purchased several steel drums / pans directly from Trinidad - but I have NEVER received an instrument even close to the quality of theVistaPansteel drum. The reason for this - in my opinion - is that VistaPan travels to Trinidad and has developed a personal relationship with and has earned the respect of the best pan tuners / makers in Trinidad. Without such a personal relationship, it is close to impossible for a quality pan to leave Trinidad. VistaPan is truly your direct personal connection to Trinidad handcrafted instruments. I appreciate the additional information
you supplied regarding the pros and cons of the various configurations
available. By the way, I liked the fact that you chose a configuration that
would better suit my needs, even if that meant somewhat less money for your company. To me there's a *huge* difference between just 'selling things' and 'keeping the customer satisfied' ! I am a professional pan player in
Florida. I bought a low C high gloss chrome lead pan. The service was
great. The delivery was fast and I was extremely satisfied with the look
and sound of my new pan. The first thing that I did was to bring it to
Tony Cezair here in Florida. Tony is from Trinidad and is a well known
performer. He is also an expert Tuner. He also makes a lot of steel drums
of all types for many school systems in and around Volusia county. Tony
has been doing this for over thirty years. That is why I wanted his
opinion on my new "Vista Pan". He was amazed at the sound and quality and
could hardly believe it when I told him what I paid for it. His pans are
considerably more expensive than my Vista, but he confessed that it was
equal in quality to his. I love my pan and I am thinking of someday adding
